'Bama holds top stop in AP poll, Nevada creeps in

Alabama maintained its spot atop the Associated Press Top 25 poll despite surviving its closest call of the season in Saturday's 24-20 comeback victory over Arkansas.

The Crimson Tide, which trailed by 13 in the second half before rallying to victory gained five first-place votes for a total of 57, while No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Boise State received two and one, respectively.

On the other end of the poll, No. 25 Nevada broke into the rankings for the first time since 1948. The Wolf Pack are off to a 4-0 start for the first time since their Division I-AA days in 1991.
